Made the mistake of shutting down windows 7 32 bit after it froze "forced shutdown" IE8 froze up.My pc will not reboot all i get is 0xc000000f or 0xc0000009 errors, keeps telling me there is a problem with my Sata Harddrive. Pc will not start only thing i get is a blank screen only way i have of getting my installation dvd to work is to disconnect the HDD.When i reconnect it at the repair screens can,t do system repairs or systems restore or anything else. will not start in safe mode does not respond to f1,f2,f8,f11,f12 or anything else have tried making up a win pe cd but this suffers from the same problems as my installation dvd. Will try to get hold of a repair cd/iso to see if i can repair the HDD but not to sure how to go about this.Bios updates with a blank screen there not a lot i can do with a Bios update at this time, resetting Bios to factory or default settings no good in saying that HDD still showing on Bios and if i setup as a RAID HDD will show up at the start of a reboot but that it. Having to use my old pc in order to get online if microsoft has a uk contact number that would be nice. One more thing this is the 2nd HDD drive that win 7 has messed up ( what i would like to say i cannot print) the 1st just died the 2nd has errors i will not go a 3rd....back to xp pro.

If you have a second computer the least technical means of repair might well be to take out the non-booting HDD and slave it to the 2nd PC, where you can run chkdsk on it to effect repairs...

win 7

Hi all

Had a great idea this morning take my Harddrive down to Pc world and let there tech guys have a look at it.They had it for about 3 hrs and ran all the system checks and systems repair on it and handed it back and told me that everything was ok. That all the problems as they say where fixed ??? and it was good to go, so i headed for home with high hopes. Reinstalled my harddrive in my case and hooked everything backup turned it on to be greeted by.... that blank screen and flashing cuser that i have been looking at over these last few days.

I give up...

win7 forced shutdown reboot FIXED

Hi all

Right..... here how. 1st go into your Bios and change your boot device to your CD-ROM so that it shows as your 1st boot device (it will only hang if you leave it as your harddrive)
2nd stick in your win 7 dvd/cd it should take you to the install screen. Pick repair move down to the DOS-COMMANDS TYPE IN bootrec/fixboot and press enter reboot PC and it should startup... me i picked run Memory Diagnostics and put in a System Restore and took it back a couple of points.
3rd Reason a forced shutdown reboot takes out your reboot manager ( REBOOT MGR ) and causes it to hang when you reboot.. system repair does not see it but DOS does.

Enjoy
