Hi,

After some windows updates, my computer suddenly starts freezing and crashing. I have run hardesk and memory diagnoses but it has not found any error. I have run scandesk and it does find few corrupt files but it says it cannot fix them

I have tried reinstalling/restoring windows twice but this starts happening after a week or so again. This only happens after windows update. If I disable all services from msconfig, then the system is stable but if I enable either of windows update or firewall, the computer starts crashing

I have tried running the microsoft troubleshooter but my laptop crashes in the mid of the troubleshoot. I have tried scandesk and everything on microsoft support page but nothing seems to work

I am out of ideas how to fix this. I have tried running memory and hardesk tools but it did not find any error. Should I check hard desk or rams or is there any other method I can try. Please help

Arif
