Windows 7 HD video ?

HI everyone. I have Windows 7 RTM.

Do i need to install any codeck pack fot watch hd videos(1080p or 720p)

And does my system enough to watch hd videos :

P4 3.6 Ghz(o/c)

2 GB DDR2 667 Mhz

ATI HD 2600 pro 512 mb 128 bit (%20 o/c)

Try some free media players like:
-KM Player(i use it,it has his own codecs,it looks good )
-VLC Media player

On that system HD videos should run fine!

VLC media player has browser support!Just try one of that media players and see how's going!

Have you tried to watch HD video without adding or changing anything? That is step 1.
 
i prefer kmp rather than vlc

vlc breaks my aero

both programs do not need external codec packs...they will play nearly everything out-of-the-box.

Or even easier, just install the windows 7 codec pack (from shark007.net) and then associate mkv files with windows media player, and it's all native then. Remember to install the x64 components if you are running a x64 windows 7 as well (from the same webpage). This will not interfer with any of microsofts own native codec support, just add mkv to the ring.
