I have a Dell Inspiron 8200, which I've recently installed Windows Vista on no problem. I tried to upgrade to Windows 7, but the setup wouldn't load when I booted from the USB. It was stuck at "Starting Windows". Awhile ago I also tried windows 7 and I booted into windows 7 setup in safe mode and the drivers stopped at "Disk.sys". Please help.
My computer even passed the Windows 7 Upgrade Adviser, saying I could run Windows 7.
These are my specs:
Inspiron 8200
Windows Vista Home Basic
Intel Pentium 4 1.20/1.60 Ghz CPU
1gb of RAM
64mb video memory
37gb Hard Drive
Designed for Windows XP Pro
