Windows 7 ISC LAN stuck on "Identifying...".

I have my 4G phone tethered to my Laptop and I set up a shared network from the mainstream LAN2 so that I can then connect my PS3 to the internet. I've done this before via PC with no problem at all. Well for some reason when I try this with my laptop it just wont connect. All it keeps saying on LAN1 is "Identifying..." Any answer as to what the problem could be?? Please.
