I have a Dell Latitude D800, that is having some problems. It's had some hardware issues, which I got straightened out, but now it locks up after boot up and I have to pull the battery. After the second boot up it is very sluggish, where, most of the time, I can only move the mouse. After letting it sit for about twenty minutes, on second boot, it is alright. It seemed to start doing this after the most recent update. I have no restore points from before the updates.

Specs:
D800
RAM: 1.5GB
HDD: 20GB
CPU: Intel Pentium M 2.0GHz
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5650
GPU RAM: 128MB

Any feedback would be appreciated.

It meets all requirements, for Windows 7. It does not the requirement of RAM for Windows 8, which I don't see that as a problem, for I do not plan on upgrading this computer.

In ControllPanel go to Programs and Features and then to Installed Updates. Uninstall all updates from the appropriate date on. Reboot and best of luck. If that works selectively reinstall updates till the problem reoccurrence. Uninstall the offending update.
