Windows 7 not genuine. Different computer so no error code yet.

Hi, just recently got asked to fix a laptop that has an error of windows 7 home premium not being genuine. However through some attempts and google-fu I can't find a way around it. No original CD-key nor installation discs. Also tried entering a different code so after I found out how to check the product key it displays the newer one. Any other way to find the old one?

In order to completely troubleshoot Windows validation & activation issues, please perform the following:

1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:

2. Run the tool, and then click 'Copy' - ignore any errors if they appear

3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the validation tool here in your next reply
