I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and I'm have issues opening certain websites, downloading from certain sites, and streaming video from certain sites. I have an old laptop with Windows XP and everything works fine on that one. I uninstalled my anti-virus software, turned off my firewall on my router and Windows also, but still the same issue. I also disabled IPv6. When I am at work everything works fine. I have satellite internet with a 1.5 Mb connection, which is the same at work. This has me going crazy. Do anyone have any ideas? Thank you

Sounds like browser problems. Download and try another browser; chrome and firefox would be nice choices.

Install Avast 5, update and then run the Boot Time scan from Tools tab. You may be infected.

Turning off hardware firewall and AV is not wise.

I've had this issue from the beginning. I did a clean install of Windows 7. I run a scan every morning at 4 am. I know that its not infected.
