System Specs:

CPU I7 950 @3.07Ghz
Asus Rampage 2 GENE
OCZ 6GB DDR3 1600Mhz
OCZ 64 GB Agility SSD
Antec 850W
Antec P193 Case
Sapphire ATI 5970 2GB
Blu-Ray Rom/DVD Combo

Windows 7 Professional 64bit

all drivers are latest version and meant for 64bit win 7

Games:
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Issue:
the BSOD is completely random but its noticeable when it's about to happen
always starts with game skipping and audio sounds messed(sorta like transformers as in movie) then USB keyboard fails to respond but mouse continues then goes to a weird bluescreen sort of like ||||||||||||||||| always perfect lines same colour
i have to restart my pc, win7 reports a event 41 Bluescreen

i think this is hardware related hence i have taken it to my local computer shop (Computer Alliance) who are failing to work it out

i cant upload the minidumps at this point in time as my pc is at Computer Alliance

im just looking for peoples opinions

do you have access to another video card to test the stability in games?
Or try an older driver.

I had random BSOD in Win 7 64bit and it was related to my video card drivers.
