Windows 7 programs stopped responding

I have several programs having to be re-installed almost daily. Also after a restart several programs pop up with a error window stating program stopped responding, Is there a safe way to reload windwos 7 , I do not have a restore date to go back to .. thanks

Hi Jonny,

First off, lets see if Windows can fix itself. Please do the following:

1. Click the Start Orb, and in the search box, type cmd
2. On the list that appears, right-click on cmd, and choose Run as Administrator
3. In the cmd window that has opened, type sfc /scannow and hit enter.

This command will let Windows scan for and attempt to fix any problematic system files. Let it finish, and then see if you have the same problem.
