Hey Guys,

so I have a ton of movies, and in Windows Explorer there are little stars so that I can rate the movies. The problem is when I mouse over the stars they don't do anything. It's like I can't rate the movies.

Anyone have the same problem?

What format movies? You can only change certain file types.

Hope this helps

Ken

my best guess would be that its because of the file type. You might notice that you can rate pictures as well. Maybe try a .wmv movie, see if you can rate it?

I have the same problem with AVI and photoshop PSD files.
Apparently Micosoft discrimates.
You can rate JPG but not PSD photos.
As I process my family AVI files into DVD's, I would like to have a visual flag I can turn on
in windows exployer. I thought I could use the RATING flags.
Oh well, so much for that

I have the same problem.
Microsoft does not allow you to rate AVI or Photoshop PSD files.
JPEG files can be rated.
I have hundreds of family AVI files I am making into DVD's.
I needed a flag to indicate I have processed the file.
Thought setting a RATING flag so I could see it in Windows explorer.
No such luck.
