Windows 7 recovery help!

Ok I will admit I not very familiar with computer programming. I have a Dell 2020 with Windows 7 and kept getting the blue screen saying memory dump and then the computer would shut down. I went to try to restore the system, and did a recovery instead. It had me save an image to the partition. When the system booted back up the windows log on screen appears but when I entry my user name and password, it tells me its not an autherized account. Is there a way to reload the image partition that was saved?

When it had you save an image, was the image done with the Windows system image or the Dell recovery? If it was a windows system image, this may help http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/675-system-image-recovery.html
