When do you think Windows 7 final will be released to the public?

I think it will be released between August & September 2009.

That's a common question will all kinds of speculations on just when the finished 7 will be available. Some look at certain articles or blogs(non MS that is) and ponder on December while the actual MS trend is typically for the beginning of the year like the end of January 2010,

I would tend to lean towards the end of the year if not early 2010 due to the fact that the anytime upgrade offer for 7 like was seen with Vista won't be seen until 7/1/09. The second public beta if there's going to be one still has to be seen with the first 7000 build expiring on 8/1/09 a month later. Offset that by 3-4 months for any final product release.

Some seem to forget that 7 is still in the beta stage and not even into the Release Candidate arena quite yet. You're not going to pinpoint any exact date until MS is ready to make any official press release.

You know what would be funny is if people linned up outside walmart to get 7, like the release of Halo 3 or Gears of war 2 or something.

And I was reading some microsoft Developers blog the other day and he said we should have everything DONE by Aug...not shipped but done.
If yall want proof then go find it lol cuz I dont feel like going to look. But yeah my guess is with those who say November-December. You have to give time for the BETA to run out and Everyone to get Vista back on their PC's.

An MS store besides... let's see mice and keyboards would need trinkets like t shirts, coffee mugs, wall calendars, mouse pads, MS logo dust covers for monitors, and anything else you can imagine just in time for the holiday shopping.
