Windows 7 RTM Patch problem?

I installed a program that patches uxtheme.dll and related files for Win 7 RTM. I run any 3rd party theme, it doesn't apply. I opened the patcher again and it says this OS is already patched. Help Please!? (and yes I did restart)

Hi, I don't have any first-hand experience with the uxtheme patcher but I'm fairly confident this needs to be 'run as admin'. Did you do that?

Yes I did do that but didn't work. I found out later that the theme needs to be specifically made for Windows 7 or else it won't work.

My second question is, that is there a way to apply Windows XP 3rd party themes on Windows 7? I doubt it, but im just asking.

You can only porting a XP-theme with VistaStyleBuilder.
for exemple:
