Having installed latest drivers for the sound card (soundblaster X-Fi Platinum) updated Windows everything is running fine on the Logitech Z5500. But whats with Windows sounds they are so faint and delicate its like they need a dose of hormones or cafein!

Actually I miss the boldness of the Windows 95 sound schema, that at volume made you jump out of your chair when an error was invoked.

I haven't noticed any difference in the Windows system sounds since Win XP. I have had Win 95/98/ME, etc., but never really noticed the system sounds levels or used many of the Windows sounds.
