Solved Windows 7 starter black background problem.

Yeah. Windows 7 Starter doesn't have this personalize option when you right click the desktop. You have to install a software like Oceanis to change your background.

I've been thinking nowadays probably System Restore can help me. Is it true? I should've thought of restoring my system to an earlier point when it happened.

Ya, it doesn't. You think I would have noticed the word starter in the title.....

No mate it doesn't if my memory serves me right I just knew the Starter didn't have Aero and for what reason is a bit of a mystery.
I fixed those couple I worked on in a round about way and I don't remember exactly but I just used Pics for the background somehow. It is a long while ago now but possible without add on software.

You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon? error message

Choose whichever one makes more sense to you, and follow the directions exactly. If you get stuck let us know.

Sorry this happened to you, it's one of those errors that could be caused by multiple things all under the generic issue of user profile corruption.

I think it's usually caused by user error due to improperly trying to rename the user profile folder, or improperly trying to move the user profile folder to another location.
