Hi Good day to all. I just upgraded my system to Win7 from XP SP3 with clean install. After installing everything drivers, games and essential application. I have been getting some BSOD but never experienced in XP SP3. I've search over the internet finding ways to solve my prob but no luck.

Steps that I have tried:

1. Update BIOS to latest version Im using Asus P5Q latest ver 2102.
2. Upgrade my ram from Corsair Dominator 2g to G Skill Trident 4g thought Im
lacking of enough ram to run Win7 and some other new games like MW2.
3. Update driver like LAN, graphics driver etc.

Any help would be appreciated very much.
Heres my mini-dump files including my latest BSOD.

Hi and welcome

These crashes varied but all pointed towards memory corruption. The and the outdated drivers is a problem

I would
download memtestx86 and run for several hours at least
run a system file check to verify and repair yoour system files
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>SFC /SCANNOW

This is in addition to following the advice from zigzag3143...

This is the second system I've seen with this driver in the last 24 hours:
DB3G.sys It's dated from 2005 and very likely has issues with Vista and Win7 (due to the changes in the OS).

It most likely belongs to this device: Diamondback USB Optical Mouse Driver - Diamondback USB Optical Mouse - Razer (Asia-Pacific) Pte Ltd

Additionally, the P5 series of boards from Asus may have issues with RAM voltages/settings. I'd suggest consulting the Asus website and the Corsair website for the appropriate voltages/settings/timings

Should I warranty my G Skill Trident? I also overclock my system a bit my Q6600 running @ 3g but I have not mention this earlier because my system is stable when I was in XP SP3. I did'nt do anything in my CMOS setup before going to Windows 7.

About this drivers what should I do about them?

DB3G.sys --> I got this by updating it with Windows Updater
speedfan.sys --> Im using speedfan 4.40 which is up to date.
AsIO.sys ---> I tired googling it, if im not mistaken its from Asus probe.

A machine on Win 7 is not the same machine on XP. Set everything to default, then do testing. Visit the maker of ram modules to see correct Vdimm, timings and frequency. Set bios accordingly.

Install the latest motherboard utilities from the motherboard website. Uninstall speedfan, for testing now. You can install later if wanted.

Thanks to all now I got the root of all my BSOD. My CMOS settings on overclocking is not stable, as Sir Geo64 said XP SP3 is not the same with Win7.

After 10 hrs and 30mins memtest in default CMOS settings the ram is good no errors.

Again big thanks to all God bless ^_^
