Hello there,
this is my first thread on the site so i hope i don't make too many mistakes. Firstly (like a fool) i managed to delete my windows/system64 contents on my dell laptop while trying to free space, only to find that as soon as i rebooted the laptop it continuously get's stuck at an error page for about a second and then displays me with two options of: Launch repair and start windows normally - i have done both several times both to no avail and i have tried booting in all of the different modes. I.E safe mode - last known good configuration

Sounds like a re-install.

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

If you don't have access to a Windows DVD, go to Microsoft's Digital River site and download an ISO for your version of Windows.

Burn it to a DVD, and then use it to reinstall Windows, using your COA producy key to activate.

The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) label should be stuck on the bottom of your laptop.

Also will doing this delete all the files on my computer? If so is there anyway i can get the files off of the computer or fix the laptop without deleting files?

What kind of o/s is on the machine you are using now?

You can get the free Paragon rescue kit - boot it >select Normal Mode>File transfer Wizard.

I think it can burn itself to usb - have a look.

That is awful.

You have to go to Paragon Facebook to get it.

I have no intention of doing that.
