"WindowsUpdate_80244019" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"
While attempting to update its showing this error in build 7000...What should I do to solve this...
Thanx in Advance
The update 80244019 error is:
The 404 or Not Founderror message is a HTTPstandard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server but the server could not find what was requested. 404 errors should not be confused with "server not found" or similar errors, in which a connection to the destination server could not be made at all.
It says that Windows Update was able to communicate with the Windows Update server - but it could not find what it was looking for.
My first suggestion would be to try again. If that doesn't work, then we'll have to try some of the Windows Update fixes that are floating around the web.

1 other option which i've had work is to completely reset internet explorer as Windows Update (as far as i know) uses the advanced settings, mainly proxy to contact the server.
If you go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Internet Settings -> Advanced & first click 'Restore advanced settings' then 'Reset'.

You will need to re-install any plugins/addons you previously had installed with IE
Hope this helps
p.s. if i can remember what source i got this info then i'll post that too
