Recently posted on WU experiences mostly with regard to failure of Windows Defender Updates refusing to Install. Given up that item for the moment and am perplexed about another issue. Usually when advised that new updates are available, I sit a week and wit to see if anything hits the fan. Also research each one and see if any update includes items that I don't want to install for privacy or other reasons. To check what is available, I have mostly relied on Windows Update itself to see what's missing; in addition, I will occasionally (typically quarterly) check with Belarc Advisor and DISM ++.

These are the results of my end of year check:

Belarc
KB3177467
KB4471328
KB4483187

Windows Update
KB4483187
KB4481480
KB4480970

DISM++
KB4471318
KB4470199
KB4471328
KB3177467
KB4468323
KB4463376
KB4099950 x2
KB3020369

Not so much looking for guidance on the usefulness or lack thereof of each KB as much as I'm curious as to why the 3 results are different and none of the listed KBs are on 2 or all 3 lists. I have run the Windows Update Tool and all issues were reported as fixed. The tool finds a problem after each time I try and install the Windows Defender Definition Update and it "Fixes" it.

I spotted KB4483187 in Belar and Windows Update lists.
Not sure how Belarc Advisor filters its updates as I have never used it for that purpose. Do you have the latest Belarc release installed on computer?
Windows Update only provides updates according to your WU settings. Whether that means Recommended and/or Important updates and Updates for other Microsoft Products.
DISM++ usefulness is that it notably misses out updates that contain Telemetry.

1. Yes, everything is latest release.
2. It is set to Check for Updates and Give me Recommended Updates same way as Important
3. I thought it listed them but the ones with telemetry (i.e. KB3080149) , hardware / software specific fixes (or problems), Win 10 stuff or other nasties were highlighted in Orange ... web search on "DISM++ Orange" only mentions options for other modules. I do notice that updates that I have hidden are both showing up (KB3133977) and not showing up (KB2952664) on DISM++
