I don't think it's possible, is the upgrade edition is what it is, then it isnt a full OS.

Yes you can do a full install from an upgrade disk with a upgrade key.
Search the forums you will find the insructions you need to do it.
And by the way aem. the upgrade disk is the full version.

from what I have read you need the OS in place before an upgrade now 98 Me 2000 XP you could provide the disc mid upgrade to show (place in cd drive) you had the previous OS to upgrade from ?

So the upgrade disk + upgrade key = full W7.
I know about the upgrade key and how u can use it to upgrade your existing OS, but did'nt know u can install using just the upgrade disk from scratch.

You can I have done about 20 install with it. And no OS installed before installing 7.
