Windows 7 Validation

im trying to add a windows media player 11 plug in, but when i install it, it asks for windows validation and i get an error that this OS is not from microsoft, how can i fix this?

Hello phoenix...

Installation of the plugin probably fails, not recognizing the new OS.

You could try installing it using Compatibility Mode

See if that helps.

i think is cause in de database, windows 7 is not register as a Microsoft OS

yup i did and no is not a torrent release.
when i try to validate it take me to the genuine software web site.

Send feedback, they will fix it, other then that I'd just fool around with some work arounds, try installing it offline, see what that does.

yup, but i just solved the problem, a radio fm website was asking for windows media player 11 and it takes me to the download site where i download WMP11, when i install it, it ask for genuine software and i didnt know this was WMP12. i found the plug in in other web site and solve the problem. thnx but the genuine software still a problem with Windos 7 lol...
