Windows 7 welcome screen

when i boot up my computer it seems to take a while on the welcome screen after password. It wasnt always like this as it used to just boot almost instantly.Thanks

The delay will likely be it loading your user startup apps, check the startup folder in the start menu and the startup tab in MS config to see whats loading
These would be empty after a clean install

I already tried that and disables almost everything apart from norton and wireless zoom, real teck and java. But alot of the services are ticked should i untick them.
