Windows 7 won't start

My brother accidentally deleted krnl.exe or something like that from c disk system32, after i restarted my pc, it wont start and said startup repair but it didnt help, it said that it cant repair windows, then i tried some codes myself but it wont fixed problems, i tried youtube videos but nothing helps, what can i do

If you have a restore point available that was created before this happened, you could try doing a system restore at boot and select this restore point to go back to.

In that case, you could try running the SFC /SCANNOW command at boot like below to see if it may be able to restore the deleted system files and allow to start afterwards.

I don't get it why it says operating system is on local e disk, i have scanned this 4 times now and still says there is no problem, i a am still trying though, until it says something different

The Windows drive letter can often be different at boot, while it's always "C" while running.

If the windows partition shows as E: when booted into winpe, then the command should be:

SFC /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=E:\ /OFFWINDIR=E:\WINDOWS
