I installed Windows 7 x64 (since some of the experts of here advised it to me!). But this version is slower than the previous one (7 x86). Why?

PS:
1- The apps are the same for the two.
2- I have no malware.
This is my system specs.

What measure did you use to determine it is slower? What do you mean by "slower"?

Time. For example the time that Windows runs the start up apps and also when using Windows. I feel that slowness of that x64 compared to the x86 one.

I'm glad that you expert most of the time trace my threads (although you don't have a reply!). But in this case, I decided to don't using the multi-boot method for having several OSes on a machine. I used VMware for that. But this item also isn't the cause of this problem. Because before installing the VMware I found out the slowness of the OS.

Apparently there isn't any obvious reason for that problem. The only cause which is in my mind is WoW. I think the problem with the x64 (for nowadays) is it. To be honest, in this few days that I had the x64, almost there isn't one time (of working) that I have't had some trouble with that OS. While when I had the x86 the only problem I had was just one thing, "nothing".

Kurdman nobody wants to argue the point. If you like 32 bit then just use it and be happy.

OK Layback, I'm going to return to the 32 bit, not because I like it, because it's better for my PC.
Thanks to all.

I have observed the same thing. I believe it is dependent on the amount of RAM. I haven't tested it, but I suspect that once you have exceeded the useable RAM limit for 32-bit (3.6?gb), 64-bit performance will improve by comparison and will probably be equal by the time you reach 8gb. This is all pure speculation, except for the initial observation.

It seems like you're comparing your (x86) system with max ram to your 64 system with not so much ram (for 64 bit use). Have you considered adding more ram to the 64 then checking it's performance?
