Windows 8 App/Games on Windows 7?

Is it possible to play Windows 8 games like Microsoft Minesweeper or the solitare collection on Win 7 and have everything work properly like the daily challenges etc?

No. You need the windows store to install them but win 7 comes preinstalled with older versions of minesweeper and two versions of solitaire (Original and Spider)
