Hi,
I ran Windows backup and the backup didn't complete successfully due to some files that couldn't be found.
The missing files are associated with the UpdatusUser user account. I think this user account is a type of system account that's used for application or program updates other than Windows or Microsoft update.
I may have deleted something some time ago in an attempt to remove old software from my system.
Is there a way to delete this entire user account and then reestablish it so that it is available to whatever programs use it?
I think that if this user account was restored to its "like new" condition, I wouldn't get the Windows backup errors.
I don't have a restore point or system image that predates this issue.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Regards
