Anybody know what this folder might be from?

It is on my D:\ data partition. Apppears to be a windows folder, but I don't understand why it is on my D:\ drive. It's about 900MB in size.

Of course I have windows on my C:\ drive as well.

I haven't been looked on the D:\ for a while and never noticed this, till now.

Any ideas why it would be here and if it is not needed, can I delete safely?

My searches keep turning up BlueTooth threads.

The right click delete and rename options have the UAC sheild.

Hello Jay,

These are log files that are created when a upgrade fails. It can safely be deleted if you like, but I would recommend reading the log files to see which update failed to correct that first.

Upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista?

Ok, thanks for the tip. I will read before just deleting, thanks Brink.


EDIT*****checked into date modified and it was from back in the day from an old Vista upgrade I think. Felt safe as I am on 7 now so I deleted. Everything seems fine.

Let me tell you, you Disable UAC in Windows 7 and then delete the file, it should delete it, there is nothing inside it.....

There were some .dll files. and a few others but I felt safe deleting it seeing I am on Win 7 now. I must have had that folder hidden and exposed it the other day.

I feel safe about it, thanks guys.
