Hi! I am sorry if I have mistaken the topic!
I installed windows 7 ultimate x64 on my Asus x555ld-xx142d today. I was aware from the start of how difficult it will be to find the right drivers since the laptop is made to run on a windows 8.1 operating system. After hours of trying, I think I have made a big mess because almost everything seems to be working fine besides the WiFi. There is no WiFi icon in the systray and when I try to configure it, I get the message "Windows cannot detect any wireless network interfaces". PLUS, my desktop brightness is changing per minute by itself from low luminosity to bright.

Here are some attachments that I think might give you an idea about the problem:

I would really appreciate your help:cry:.Thanks!

I've got an X55, running 10TP on it.
BUT it was sold like yours as W8,
However it was originally setup by Asus as W7, and moved to 8 by them.

ALL of the drivers are available via asus support/drivers.

Thank you for your time. I solved the problem anyways. I copied the Hardware Ids value from each driver, pasted it on google and so I found the right drivers.:p
