Windows cannot find WMIC

Hi,

I have a popup that appears every couple minutes saying "Windows cannot find WMIC. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again". I did some troubleshooting research and found very little on it. I tried adding %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem to the PATH in Environment Variables but the message still appears. If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions, please let me know.

kma1717 I have read through some of your other post and found that you have used (sfc /scannow) and found no problems. You have also state that you are part of the I.T. Department which has installed Enterprise. Your Windows 7 Enterprise installation has many problems by what I have read in your other posts in other threads.

This leads me to believe that you don't have a proper Windows 7 installation or somehow, someone it the I.T. Department has changes many of Windows default settings. Chasing those problems down one at a time could take forever.

In my non-I.T. opinion the proper choice at this time would be either a Repair Install or a Clean Install.

I'm not understanding why I.E. 8 is being used as per your specs.
