When playing games, especially GPU intensive ones, my windows color Scheme keeps changing to basic.
It gives me extreme ping related lag spikes in online games, making them unplayable. What it does is that it changes back and forward, I can almost see my screen flashing from basic to aero and back. To be specific, once every 3-5 seconds.
This is by far the dumbest, most annyoing feature I've ever come across in Windows 7.

I've tried turning off all the notifications inside action center, and tried disabling desktop composition in applications.

I've been searching for hours, and come across threads about this. But NONE of the solutions are working for me. As of now I can't play any GPU intensive online game, as my ping jumps from below 100, to several thousand caused by the windows scheme changing back and forward.

Would appricieate a helping hand. But please do not introduce me with the default solutions as I've seen about every single one of them and haven't been able to fix the issue.
