So, for one of the windows drive I had "Compress this device to save disk space" option selected. I created a folder in the disk to copy paste images from my camera. I pasted close to 380 images (4 -5 MB each) + 6 videos (200 MB).

However because of compression thing, images icon is blue in color. Also now each image appear to have size of 3.2 GB while size on disk is 4 KB, Also nothing opens? I checked later that it is also 'active' drive for my computer although the OS files are in C drive. (strange, never changed it)

Please help, some really important pictures there.

Hi adixit, welcome to Seven Forums,

The fact that the images are blue is normal to show that they are compressed files.
Have you tried right-clicking one of them and opening it with something like 7-Zip?

I hope this helps!
