windows could not format a partition on disk 0:error code 0x80070057

problem 1
recently i had to install windows 7 in my pc.....bt while installing a message always shows up saying "windows could not format a partition on disk 0.an error occured while preparing the partition for installation.error code 0x80070057"
my hard drive is samsung HD502H(500GB) and have a partition of 93.1GB
please sugest a solution....i need it very urgently

there are many important files in the hard disk....can i recover those files in any way???
