Getting error code 8024402C.
- I've followed SevenForums Windows Update Posting Instructions
- I've also followed troubleshooting instructions at Windows Update error 8024402C
- Have turned off my AV (Avast Internet Security) temporarily to run updates - no good.
- I am not on an WSUS Administrator-controlled system, where WSUS
- I've uninstalled Dell Client System Update, which I suspect may have contributed to the problem, since it updated on its own about the time I started experiencing problems.
I am running Windows 7 Professional x64. Machine is a Dell Latitude E6500 series.
Attached are a zip file of my CBS logs file directory and a screenshot of the Windows Update error dialog.
