Solved Windows does not boot

Hi does lucid puppy backup ir files? If not then i don't know how to backup files with a pc which dont boots. And do u have skype? Could be easier to talk there.

What are ir files? And it doesn't matter if windows boots or not, that method involves booting from a live cd which doesn't depend on windows.
Did you go through the steps which i mentioned in my previous post about SFC and troubleshooting steps?
This forum is meant for public support. So, lets stick to the forums.
Umm i typed with my phone its 3.3 inch display it was supp0sed be be "backup your files"

Yes, you'll be able to backup all your files.

- SFC didn't run or you weren't able to run it? We can guide you through the steps if you wish though the tutorial is self-explanatory.

- You can burn the puppy linux iso to a cd also. In case your uncomfortable with linux, see point 9 of the below tutorial and choose your preferred method.

- What exactly you didn't understand in the above linked tutorial? The points are well laid out with proper links.

You need to tap F8 as soon as the POST (or say BIOS) screen appears. What happens when you do so? It just boots to Windows Recovery environment w/o displaying advanced boot options?

You said you even tried safe mode with command option? Exactly how you tried this?
Are you able to boot normally to windows?
Have you tried system restore? Boot up your system and when it arrives at the recovery environment, there should be an option of system restore.

As i said earlier, i have tried all of the options. Nothing works. You can run safe mode if you type bcdedit /set {current} safe mode or something like that and there is another one but i dont remember. But i cant start safe mode with cmd either

type bootrec /scanos in command window and see if it detects windows installation.
To be honest, it'd be quite quicker and wiser to just backup your data and do a repair install.

2. How to repair?
Both your questions has already been answered in the earlier ports. Go through this thread again from start.
You didn't even tell if its a laptop or desktop as most laptops come with a recovery partition pre-installed which will reset your machine to factory settings.

You can backup your computer with: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/93347-copy-paste-windows-recovery-console.html

You can repair your computer with a clean install. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219487-clean-reinstall-factory-oem-windows-7-a.html

Or you can use the factory system image as suggested. That would probably be the safer route if you have the recovery partition intact. We would need to know what laptop/desktop vendor you have to help you with this.
