Note : This question is not about Internet Explorer, it's about Windows Explorer.

Hello,

I have two almost identical Windows 7 Enterprise installations, the only difference is that one has Internet Explorer 9, the other one has IE 10.

the IE10 machine's Windows Explorer doesn't have the 2 submenus Toolbars and Explorer Bar (pls see attachment).

I'm not sure if they were available before I tried to install an Windows Explorer extension called "qttabbar", which could have messed up the reqistry (found nothing on their forums btw).

Any clues on how to make the submenus (re)appear ?

Note: I have the "Toolbars" and "Explorer Bar" on Internet Explorer 10.

Hello Wolf, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Those most likely would have been added by qttabbar. They are not there by default.

If you like, you could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before this happened to undo it. :)
