Hello, I have recently installed windows 7 on my 60 ocz harddrive and had a previous windows folder on my c drive disc drive. I wanted to get rid of all the old files and folders so I ran Dban to nuke the hard drive. Now I cannot access Windows at all.. Boot manager is missing and I cannot recover it by using the installation discs.. It gives me this error whenever I boot the install disc.

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix this problem.
1. insert your windows disc.
2. Choose your language
3. Click "Repair your computer"

File: \Boot\BCD

status: 0Xc000000f

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration.

I cannot access Windows repair

Things ive tried

1. Resetting Bios to default
2. disconnecting all hardrives but one to install or repair windows
3. using the installation disc to repair windows

I am about to give up and buy a whole new motherboard and harddrives because this has me truly stumped.. If anyone can help that would be great.

After install Windows 7 on your SSD. What did you nuke?
When you installed Windows 7 on the SSD what other hard drives were hooked up?
What hard drives/SSD did you have hooked up when you did the nuke?

If you wiped the drive then Win7 is gone, too. If you're talking about two separate hard drives then you need to make that clearer, and be sure that you wiped the correct drive.

If you have two drives, unplug the other HD and boot into the Win7 DVD or Repair CD to see if it will now find an installation to repair. If not download and burn to CD free Partition Wizard bootable CD, boot it and post back a camera snap of the full drive map so we can see what you have now.

If you had one HD and wiped it, then boot the Win7 installer to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
