So, all started about 2 months ago. My computer kept freezing after launching any application, it was working veeery slow and after a couple of seconds only thing that I could do was shaking cursor, when I tried to open Ctrl-Alt-Delete menu the screen was going black and computer was self-restarting. I did MBAM scan in Safe Mode, but nothing was detected. I formatted my notebook disk completely and installed system from manufacturer's CD. It was working very well until yesterday. Now everything is like it was these 2 months ago. If it have any importance, a week ago I had a "Kernel data inpage error" BSoD that damaged my wireless network drivers, and disk was useless for short time, but HD Tune didn't find anything wrong on it. Please, help, I don't want to use Linux forever!

EDIT:

Please, reply anyone... even post that you have it somewhere deep and You won't help me...

This notebook is garbage.
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

When you run Linux is it from a Live CD? Or do you boot it from HD? If Live CD I suspect hardware or a sneaky malware. You might try one of those bootable malware scan rescue discs.

Also if you did a quick format that doesn't overwrite the data. Malware could easily survive a quick format.

Hello Kristoforoh,

That issue doesn't sound very good.

As mentioned in MilesAhead reply, you can try to use a bootable malware scanner, which you can download onto a disk via another computer and then put it into the computer which is freezing.

Thank you to Stephen Boots from Microsoft Community for the links above.

If possible (don't worry if you can't) can you attach a screenshot of the programs you have in Programs and Features?

Thank you,
Vinny Buxton
