...OK. It looks like the iFilter DLL didn't get registered with your installation. You might find that a repair will fix it: type wlarp into the start search box and press Enter. When the applet opens, choose Repair... When it's finished, reboot and then check the indexing options again...
Wlarp just produces an error message for me. (Normally I do a repair from the Windows Live Essentials entry in Programs and Features.) Is "wlarp" a typo?
