Windows Live Mail deleting emails

Hello
I have a WIN7 laptop with windows live mail 2012 on it and other than microsoft outlook which i don't want to use for my personal account i haven't found an email client as easy to use. It works okay but it is deleting my emails from the server.
Configured as pop3
Checked Leave copy of messages on server
Unchecked remove from server after
Unchecked Remove from server when deleted from deleted folder

Yet WLM is deleting the emails from the server.
Does anybody have a solution for this ?

Microsoft have discontinued Windows Live Mail, which happened some years ago, so it's possible they are now close to shutting the whole program down, so you may have to get a new email program. There are a few around that may suit you, so have a web search on email programs & make a selection. Outlook.com is a good one & a lot of it's features are similar to WLM.
