Hello

This has happened once before and I can't remember how I stumbled on the solution but I did. I have many named folders where I store emails I want to keep one of them being "business". I was going to drag an email into it when i noticed that it was missing but other folders are still there. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

To restore these storage folders, simply choose to unhide them from the Windows Live Mail layout options.

  • Use the Alt-M key combination to bring up a small drop down menu.
  • Select “Layout“.
  • Choose “Folder pane” and put a check mark in front of “Show Storage folders“.
  • The disappeared / missing storage folders will be restored in the Windows Live Mail program.

Thanks for replying. I saw a similar posting when I searched for this problem but then and now for the life of me couldn't find "layout" or know where to apply the "Alt M" keystrokes to see that. Along the top of my WLM I have "Home/Folders/View/Accounts" and the only place storage folders options appears is in View. "Show Storage Folders" is illuminated there and I have all of the folders except the one that disappeared.
