by the way, have you unticked this option? "open the main window when messenger signs in"

If you like, you could download the REG file below for what you want, and merge (double click) it to do it automatically for you.

To apply to all users:

View attachment All_Users.reg
​

To apply to only current user:

View attachment Current_User_Only.reg
​

Thanks, Shawn. I meant to add those files to my post but I'm having problems making attachments to posts on the forums (all 3). Currently using W8CP x64.

Hey there and thanks for your reply, l just downloaded both reg files - executed them, then i restarted my pc but guess what... messenger didnt start for once more! dont know about you guys but i'm realy out of ideas here, i 've been looking for a solution the whole day!
