On windows live messenger, either on the list, or in a conversation, the images of my contacts wont show. The settings is for showing the biggest image. It worked some days ago, but not now. A just contact logged on , and the image of her showed. But most of the contacts doesnt show the image. Earlier, this issue has been solved by starting a conversation, but it doesnt help now.Its the 2011-version.

Someone knows something about this issue?

Try this.
Go to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger\[email protected]\ObjectStore. Delete that folder. Here are located display pictures. Then try to sing in.

You say it worked a few days ago, have you tried a System Restore point that's just before this happened ?

Tried to restore it, but the system couldnt complete the restoring either!

An error appeared on the screen with code 0xc0000022

I tried 2 times, the strangest thing is that the clock on lower right side each time increased with one hour

And in the norton antivirus protection system, another error code apperad: 3047,53

Norton may be the reason to all of these problems

Uninstalled windows live essentials 2011(including messenger), and installed it again, but that didnt help.

Only my own profile image is there, and one image og one contact. The rest of the images dont show up in messenger.

The issue started as a small one; the images of my contacts didnt show. I was told to delete a folder with images, did it, and it got worse. Then I tried to restore the PC, I got problems also there, an error apperad. The reason for that was the tampert protection in NIS 2010. Turned it of, then it could restore and complete it.That problem was solved. But now, two another problems have appeard: its unable to sign in on messenger, the error code is: 800706BA. This is a "standard" error code, ive tried many ways to solve it, but it almost impossible. The another issue: when I rightclick on "computer" and click on properties, a message is popping up telling me "cant find" with code starting with "26EE0668". This happened after restoring. I feel that, if I try to solve more problems now, I will destroy the pc.

Or can someone who can much about problems like these, give me some simple advices?
