I have Windows Mail in Windows 7, but how do i make it defalt?

Yes i have tried that, Windows mail is not listed.

looks like a reg edit to get it in the list then you can select it from the list to make it default mail

Do you mean Windows Live Mail?

Windows Mail is not available in Windows 7, only in Vista I believe.

Should Live Mail work in the same was as say Outlook or Outlook Express or does it only work when 'signed in' to a Live Mail account.

I use Windows Live Mail Desktop Client. It works the same as outlook after you install it and set it up to recieve your isp mail.

Thanks, I couldn't get Live Mail to work and I almost gave up, but I decided to uninstall and reinstall and I found that on the reinstall it worked immediately.
