windows not genuine

i had my laptop repaired, its now showing this copy of windows is not genuine, and it was already installed when i bought it......? i think they have wiped mine and installed a trial copy that lasted 3 months. is this legal? as it was 3 months ago i no longer have the receipt, what can i do?

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

I'm really not very good on the laptop..... But I have downloaded the MGADiag and have gone to share but don't know who i need to share it with? To get it on to my thread. Can someone help me please! :/ I'm using the iPad but have got the laptop ready to share.

SImply hit the Copy button on the tool, then come back here, and in the reply window, right-click and select Paste.

Sorry - I missed that you were using an iPad for this.
I have no idea how to transfer data between the two, unless you can save the file to a USB stick (in notepad), and then move the stick to the iPad, and ipload it from there.

Do you have not network capability on the Windows machine that can log in to the site?

You can try - I've never had an iPad attached by any means to a Win7 computer - so I have no idea what's involved.
How are you connecting the two?

Simply physically go to the computer.
On that computer run MGADiag

From that computer perform the copy and paste.

Forget using the iPAD.

We can wait until you are back at the computer under question.

I can't but I have the I phone and I have plugged it in to the laptop now.

I've run the MGADiag, through the I phone connected to the laptop, let me get to copy but not paste?

You need to log into the Windows computer and run all of these things from it, not from within your phone. Is there some reason why you can't/won't use the Windows computer?

I just received a message, on the laptop now saying , insert removable media ( important) and another saying windows defender needs to scan my computer....?
