Windows not updating after fresh install

Currently got windows 7 installed, got the drivers for my wifi adapter put in but the windows updates wont start. When I go to the control panel and manually check for updates it just spins non stop. I can surf the internet so thats not a problem. I have also changed my dns to the google to see if that helps

like brand new install. The only thing I have downloaded are my chipset drivers,mobo drivers, graphics drivers.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file
