Windows only allows me to share Users folder

Whenever I share other folders, I can't access them on my tablet, only except for the Users folder which is shared by default, the others give me "you don't have permission blah blah" I'm frustrated with windows :\ plz help

I find it strange that your "Users" folder is shared by default, it isn't on my computer. What app are you using to connect to the shared folders? I have two apps for my Android devices, ES File Explorer by ES APP Group and another called File Manager (Explorer) by Cheetah mobile. Both apps have the option to input a username and password to access shares, the lack of one gives you "Insufficient Permissions".

If you do use a Username and Passowrd to connect to the shares then it may be that the User Account you are using does not have permissions to access the shares, if you are a basic user (not an Administrator) then you only get permissions to Read & Execute, List Folder Contents and Read.

However I see you're using Windows 7 Enterprise, this is usually used in Educational Facilities such as schools, colleges and Universities, and as such is usually heavily locked down to stop people fiddling with things they shouldn't be, if this is the case then you have no chance of being able to set the permissions so you can look at the shares you create.

sorry that I didn't make that clear, but my tablet runs win 8.1 and my pc runs win 7, and I already solved the problem by enabling the sharing wizard from the "view" settings.
