Was this an in-place Upgrade or clean Custom install? When was it done?

How has performance been since install before these errors?

Is Win7 running now?

Type CMD in start search box, rightclick on result at top of page, Run as Admin: sfc /scannow

Report back results.

If this fails, put DVD into tray, run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html?ltr=R

This was a clean install, it seems like all of the problems ive had in the past all popped up at once, i been having an issue where i think adobe player freezes my whole computer under internet explorer so i had just reinstalled it and then as i was going on about my buisness i saw the little flag in the right corner and it came up with all that.

as far as performance its been ok besides the whole computer freezing with ie8

yes windows 7 is running now.

Probably flashplayer bugs.

Check your Event Viewer for Critical errors, Google repeat Errors

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Performance Information and Tools\Advanced Tools check Performance Logs, Generate System Health Report.

Try the Repair Install as last resort. I had so many bugs with 64 bit I went back to 32. So consider.

Just happened on firefox now, after i uninstalled adobe flash player and had it installed in firefox only, nothing ever shows up in event viewer just critical error about the pc not being shot down correctly. I cant belive its happening on firefox now.. This is really getting annoying.

I was on a forum clicked into a thread and the pics were loading then blam it froze right there.

Unless you are willing to do some forensic troubleshooting, I would seriously consider backing up your data and doing a format/fresh install..

Try IE8. They really perfected it in Win7. Not a hiccup here. Probably has better 64 support, too.

Uninstall Firefox when you do. Give it a day trial.

Then I'd go with Tews approach. Clean installs are always a good thing.

Get it right and then get an image. Never reinstall again.

IE8 was also freezing and i thought that was the cause of the problem... would you like me to paste my performance report its a bit long... Also if i repair, am i going to have to reinstall any programs?

Or if you want ill let you remote into my dekstop so you can have a gander on whats going on.

I would not do a repair...I would do a clean install...it may take a bit of time to reinstall, but its well worth it in the end... Then get a good imaging program and backup your system ...

That's to say if that will work. I want that as last resort. *sigh* im either in for one hell of a night or one hell of a morning.

You can dig deeper by clicking through WEI score link at Computer>Properties to Advanced Tools to Generate A System Health Report.

Study critical and repeat errors in Event Viewer.
