OK, I got this sorted. I just plugged it into one of the front USB ports, then I got the usual installing drivers at the bottom right side of my screen, then it said USB Input Device was installed and ready to use. The I plugged it into the back of the PC again and the same thins happened, it ran through it's installation of the driver.
So all good on the keyboard now! Pretty happy about that because it was seriously doing my head in
