Hey guys, I am having an issue with windows not checking for updates properly. When I go to update windows, it checks for updates and then displays the error code C0000022. I have run numerous antivirus scans, thinking this may be the problem, and removed what traces and threats were found by the scans. However, this didn't solve the update issue. I have also run a startup repair, which detected no problems.
My MGADT results are below. The only thing I don't understand is that the product key the results display doesn't match the product key of the sticker on my computer, which came with windows preloaded. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Attached the CBS file after following all steps in the Windows Update Posting Instructions thread. The error code as mentioned above is C0000022.
EDIT #2: Also I should add, when I go to System properties (Right-click computer, then properties) under the windows activation section, both status and Product ID show as "not available". In addition, I get a pop up every hour or so that tells me that my copy of windows is not genuine and I need to validate or buy genuine windows.
